Urban Ministry is pleased to welcome Dorothiann McCray as our new Director of Urban Kids!

Dorothiann was born in Birmingham and attended John Carroll High School. She graduated from Tuskegee University in 2009 with a degree in Elementary Education. For the past two years, Dorothiann has taught 6th grade Language Arts at J.F. Drake Middle School in Auburn. 

Dorothiann has wanted to work with children ever since her second grade teacher showed her how much of an impact teachers can make in students' lives. Having grown up in Birmingham, she has returned home to serve, and we are thrilled to have her as part of a team where she will impact the lives of many students in our community.
