A Ministry of Compassion and Wholeness

Hi everyone!

Since Ama is feeling under the weather today, the Wednesday WE Gardens Report will have to wait until next week. Feel better, Ama!

As a preview, she's planning to feature Sun Gold Tomatoes as our crop of the month. Here they are looking delicious as they ripen on the vine:

Meanwhile, I wanted to share some photos and videos from the Urban Kids summer program. Urban Kids provides opportunities for enrichment, creativity, physical activity and academic growth for over 30 young people in West End.

Last week we had super supporter Joy O'Neal bring two lovely horses to the garden to teach our kids about equine grooming, feeding and care:

And what summer camp would be complete without tie-dyed t-shirts? Becky snapped a great photo as these craft projects were drying on the fence outside our office:

Thanks to all of our supporters who gave and who continue to give to make Urban Kids, WE Gardens and other programs possible.

(And if you haven't already, please consider giving to our Summer Matching Campaign, where every gift will be matched by at least fifty cents on the dollar!)
